POSITION SUMMARY/ PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the oversite and preparation of a 24-hour linear channel traffic log. This includes tracking commercial scripts and ensuring all copy and creative is received as well as working closely with programming and broadcast operations. The Traffic Coordinator will edit all logs to ensure best placement of spots and support the business of a high-volume and fast-paces team.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Preparation of 24-hour Multi-channel daily traffic logs
  • Act as a liaison among sales department, engineering operations, programming and on-air promotion departments
  • Track all advertising insertion and scheduling for all platforms (linear & SVOD)
  • Manage commercial downloads from multiple spot portals and coordinate all requests from in-house and outside production companies
  • Handle and resolve production request, spot technical issues and work with master control to resolve
  • Screen content, including short-form, in order to determine content issues and quality control

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • BA in in Communications, Media, Business or related field preferred;
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ traffic experience in digital media, or related field preferred
  • Experience with Wide Orbit or similar sales, traffic scheduling software applications preferred
  • Experience with Excel preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital media platforms, web, app, streaming and connected devices preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge and passion for Country Music Programming preferred
