POSITION SUMMARY/ PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Develops and implements marketing strategies that build and support the vision of the organization. This position plays a major role in brand development and continuity that is deeply metrics driven. The Vice President of Marketing oversees all aspects of marketing, research, and digital initiatives and strategies. This position will also be responsible for managing support staff including Marketing Analyst.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Establishes marketing objectives, directs and approves marketing promotional plans and strategies to support the positioning of the organization.
  2. Lead analytic efforts to asses Marketing initiatives and leverage insights that produce relevant data to drive business decisions.
  3. Partner closely with teams to enable the successful acquisition and retention of subscribers.
  4. Work strategically with engineering and business intelligence to ensure the successful integration of marketing technology and data platforms.
  5. Manages the marketing team to support the development and execution of the organizations marketing strategy.
  6. Create and maintain daily and long-term content calendar and scheduling through various channels.
  7. Report metrics and key learnings on a regular basis to leadership and adjust strategies as needed.
  8. Help the organization evaluate marketing performance and proactively identify opportunities that add value and drive results. 
  9. Collaborate, build and maintain relationships with industry partners that support marketing objectives.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate key priorities into marketing plans.
  11. Ensuring fiscal responsibility by managing department budget and activities.
  12. Maintains awareness of current trends within the industry.
  13. Establish and nurture partnerships with cross-functional teams including Product & UX, Data & Analytics, Technology, Operations, and External Vendors (i.e.: CRMs) in order to create engaging and data-driven marketing campaigns
